What are those options available in the options menu of this game?

There are three options which can choose to enable or disable.

Time Based -> Play a demo based on the speed of the timeline (Real-time). This setting is recommended for standard playback.
No Frame Cap -> Play the demo as fast as possible.
3rd Person Mode -> In this mode, the camera is behind the actor (player).

There are so many demo types with a '.dem' extension. Doesn't Seismovision get confused on what game to start.?

Seismovision uses a demo identification algorithm to read the start of a demo and find know strings to identify the demo. It may though happen that it fails. Please report such happenings.

  You always need certain files in which a demo was recorded in. Such as UtSecure and stuff like that. The demo will not play if a certain file is missing. Unlike Unreal Tournament 2003 this Unreal is not so kind to show you what you are missing. Get yourself the Demo Manager mod for Unreal Tournament. Download at http://www.usaar33.com.
