When using Seismovision 3 on Windows Vista with UAC enabled (User Account Control (on by default)) may cause problems with Seismovision. Disabling UAC is not recommended as the already installed software may be affected. The easiest way to fix this is to set compatibility of Seismovision 3 to Windows XP SP2. Right-click on the Seismovision 3 icon on your desktop, select 'Properties' and then click 'Compatibility'. Click on the small square box (so that a check mark appears in the box) next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose 'Windows XP (Service Pack 2)' from the combo box. Click 'Ok'.
